Trees of Life-
My Tree of Life artworks combine the essence of my deepest childhood memories with the spiritual connection I feel to trees. When I was a child, we lived on a remote mountain farm near a forest. This forest was our garden, our playground and a place of adventure and discovery.
The trees were more than just plants to us children; they were our companions, our playmates. We hugged their trunks, climbed their branches and listened to the whisper of their leaves in the wind. Their presence enveloped us with security and wonder, and we felt a deep connection to their vital presence.
For me, trees symbolize the connection between heaven and earth, between the material and the spiritual. I want to capture and express this connection in my artwork. I paint trees not just as static objects, but as living beings filled with wisdom and energy. Every brushstroke, every shade of color should embody their strength and resilience.
When I stand in front of my canvas, I immerse myself in the world of trees, letting myself be inspired by their beauty and majesty.
